In a nutshell the best advantages are: saving money on gas and being kind to the environment. The Toyata Prius gets over 40 miles per gallon. Depending on how far your commute is, you may not see a gas station for a couple of weeks, maybe more. Your wallet is a little fatter and who doesn’t get happy about that.
Hybrids are low-emisssion vehicles so they don’t harm the environment as much as gas guzzlers. In states with high air pollution ratings this could make a big difference. More fuel efficient public transit and personal vehicles are safer for everyone and those that suffer from respiratory issues may breathe easier.
