To save on grocery bills, consider growing  your own vegetables. Tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, squash, spinach, peppers, or beans can be grown in containers for those who don’t have any yard space (or get your neighbors in on a community-garden)! And just think of the money you’ll save, not to mention doing without all the crop pesticides.  We should consider saving money and more family time as priceless benefits of economic recession.
