There are a lot of different ways in which you can go about making money from blogs.  Of course, within these various ways of making money also lies various ways in which you can make mistakes in this business.  As such, it is important to know how to avoid these mistakes as you start your blogging business.  With this in mind, here are some of these mistakes that you should avoid:
1.Only blog whenever you feel like blogging.  With this mistake your readers will soon begin to feel as though your blog doesn’t contain enough information for them to want to visit it regularly.  This is not what you want to do and thus you must blog on a regular basis, whether you feel like it or not.
2.Never interact with your visitors.  This is another sure fire way in which to kill your blog.  It is important that you do interact with your visitors.  You not only want to read what they say so that you can gauge their reactions but you will also want to comment in order to keep them returning on a consistent basis.  Of course, this not only holds true for comments on your blog but also for any emails that are sent to you from your blog as well.
3.Look at blogging as a chore.  This is how a lot of people view blogging.  They become bored with it and then fall behind in their posts.  Herein your regular followers will begin to not be so regular.  Things will then be on a downward spiral unless you catch it quickly and find someone else to do the blogging for you.
4.Make sure that you don’t create too many blogs all at one time.  While you will make money by having more blogs generating money for you but if this keeps you from creating high quality blogs, this will not work anyway as your readers are more concerned about quality, not quantity.

By making blogging mistakes like these, you will lose visitors.  This is not something that you want to happen after all of the hard work that you have put into getting people to your web site.  The only thing harder than getting these people there is keeping them there.  If you avoid these common blogging mistakes and concentrate on building a community instead, you will succeed in both of these areas.
